Aaron Robinson can be seen every morning on Wanstead Flats running with his two collie dogs, which is impressive in itself (both going for a daily run and keeping up with a pair of collies). Although I’ve spotted him most days when I take my own dog for a walk, I didn’t realise quite how impressive his daily runs were until I was contacted by his frend, Kate Chester.
It turns out he’s been running a marathon every day for almost a year, and this Sunday, 17th December, he’s running his 365th consecutive marathon starting and finishing on Wanstead flats! He rises at 3am, runs a marathon with his 2 dogs and is back at his desk for 9am to do a full day’s work at Hope for Justice, goes to bed at 7pm and then does the whole thing all over again.
Seriously impressive.
Kate’s even written an article about it (see download above).
He’ll be running in a Christmas hat on Sunday, along with a few local supporters who will also be joining him in case you want to come and cheer him along!
