There are many events taking place in and around our local area. Here are a selection which we hope you will enjoy. FARA has no responsibility for these events.
Good Shepherd Studios – nestled right in the middle of FARA, this community space hosts regular events (including parent and baby activities, yoga, and Leytonstone’s only community cinema) and a dog-friendly coffee shop.
Pastures Community Hall – sat right next to Good Shepherd Studios is the Pastures, which has events including children’s sports, adult’s table tennis, and local socials running throughout the week.
Stone Mini Market – our local refill shop has a lovely space for hire that is free for community events and they regularly host exciting activities. Ask in-store for more information about upcoming events.
Cann Hall Safer Neighbourhood Team – meetings are held regularly. Details of the next meeting and crime statistics can be hound here.
Leytonstone Festival – our annual arts festival with lots for everyone to enjoy.
Leytonstone Arts Trail – a feast of artistic talent displayed in businesses and homes all over Leytonstone.
Stone Space Gallery – our local art gallery in Leytonstone.
Woodhouse Players – our local amateur dramatics group.
Leyton & Leytonstone History Society – local history group that organises talks and visits.
Cann Hall Community Ward Forum and Leytonstone Community Ward Forum – regular meetings where local people get together, meet their ward councillors and discuss important issues affecting their area.
St Andrews Church, Colworth Road, E11 – regular events are held here all year around, including Bistro Nights (last Friday of the month, book in advance!) and Chair Yoga (every Monday at 2pm)
