Did you witness an accident on Thursday 9th April (that’s the Thursday prior to Easter weekend) at 9.30am? An elderly man was walking on the zebra crossing on Leytonstone High Road, near the Methodist Church. He was hit by a rider of a motor scooter and left seriously injured.

Artists have until 15 May to register for this year’s Leytonstone Arts Trail. The Trail runs from 27 June to 19 July and involves many different visual arts events, from photography to painting to sculpture to textiles. The aim is to get art into as many venues as possible, so that artists can show their work, and venues can benefit from added custom.
