JUNE
Charity concert, Saturday 9 June
A concert by a famous international cellist, Alexander Baillie, is being held on 9 June in aid of local charity Carefree Kids. The charity helps troubled youngsters and the concert aims to raise money towards a mobile playbus. It will include works for cello and piano by Bach, Martinu, Schumann and Rachmaninov.
